Frisco-based HITRUST, a leader in cybersecurity and risk management, has secured a growth investment from New York’s Brighton Park Capital, an investment firm focused on software and healthcare companies.
While the investment amount remains undisclosed, HITRUST stated the funding will drive its expansion and innovation in cybersecurity and risk assurance, addressing rising global concerns over cyber threats and regulatory compliance.
CEO Daniel Nutkis will continue to lead HITRUST. “We’re excited to welcome Brighton Park Capital as a partner,” Nutkis said. “Their investment and expertise will help us expand our offerings and continue setting industry standards in cybersecurity.”
The investment will also support HITRUST’s international expansion and entry into new product areas.
Founded in 2007, HITRUST has become a leader in providing innovative solutions to help organizations manage information risk, including cybersecurity, third-party, and AI risks. The funding will strengthen HITRUST’s core offerings and accelerate the development of its continuous assurance technologies, third-party risk management tools, and AI-driven security assessments.
